Jane & Company

From photograph, to sketch to fine art masterpiece, the Jane & Company pet portrait project is now artist John Ross Palmer's largest commission series in the history of his more-than-decade long career as a professional artist.  Jane Palmer is John Palmer and Ryan Lindsay's prize-winning English Pointer and the inspiration behind this wonderfully unique fine art opportunity.  Participants of Jane & Co. first submit their favorite pet photograph(s) to artist John Ross Palmer.  Based on the image(s), John creates a sketch which will serve as the basis of his work on either canvas or wood.  After receiving the green light from the pet owner, John goes to work on creating a fine art masterpiece by combining image(s) of the pet(s) and his unique and vibrant Carnivale style of painting.  The pet owner is allowed one opportunity for a critique and artist alternation to the painting before John has the stunning painting signed, sealed and delivered to the proud pet owner.  Each Jane & Company pet portrait is professionally photographed and will be included in a coffee table book aptly named Jane & Co.!  Upon final payment for the portrait, John Palmer Art then makes a donation to the participant's favorite animal non-profit organization.  The Jane & Co. book, scheduled to be released in January of 2011, shall include an In Memoriam section which allows the participating pet owner to include an image of a furry friend that has passed on to dog or kitty Heaven.  That's right...Lady Jane Palmer does not discriminate with those in her company.  Ferrets, fish, equines, felines and amphibians are all welcome to come on board with Jane & Company.  The John Palmer Art Studio will be signing up participants through August 31, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. CST.  If you would like have your pet(s) come on board with Jane, please call the John Palmer Art Studio at 713-861-6726 or e-mail Ryan Lindsay at Ryan@JohnPalmerArt.com to receive all of the exciting project details!
